Fabulous Friday!!!
We decided that some incredible action that we can do as a
class for our current unit of inquiry is donate non-perishable food items to
the Food Bank we will be going to in October. WOW! Way to go Grade 2’s!!!
We began the day doing our unit 1 Spelling
Test.
Next we had French and then Gym.
After first recess and lunch we had Music.
Next we continued exploring skip counting
patterns on a hundred’s chart. First we played Buzz as a class using patterns
of 2, 5 and 10. So much fun! Then we explored patterns of 2, 5 and 10 on a
hundred’s chart beginning at different numbers and describing the patterns to
one another. Then we worked on number patterns in our math books.
After second recess and lunch we continued with
math.
At the end of the day Bryce, Julia and Emily
shared their all about me bags! We had so much fun getting to know all of you
better!!!
