Math class today:
What is an integer?
Learning Goal: use real-world applications of integers
Success Criteria:
I understand that:
-an integer is a positive or negative whole number
-numbers greater than zero are positive integers
-numbers less than zero are negative integers
-opposite integers are equal distances from zero, on opposite sides of zero
-I can apply my understanding of integers to real-world examples
We did some questions as a class and then moved onto Exhibition.
Students had the rest of the day to work on their research and those groups who have finished their research moved onto working on their graphic organizer for the essay. The rough draft of the essay needs to be complete by Friday at the end of the day.
At the end of the day we took part in a double pie the teacher fun for Spring Fundraiser!!!
Homework:
1. Read Daily
2. 3 pages of research due tomorrow (9 pages all together)
3. PJ day tomorrow
4. Spelling Bee tomorrow (be at the school by 9am)
