Tremendous Thursday!

Fun Awards!!!!

We began the day writing our homework in our agendas. We then read, Dear Children of the Earth, a letter from the Earth. The Earth explained to us that we are all connected. People and animals are all the children of the Earth and therefore we need to take care of one another. The Earth asked us to do one important thing: To love the earth. If we love the Earth, we will help care and protect it. We only have one Earth and one home so we are going to do our best to love, care, and protect it.

We then had gym with Mr. Slyk.

After, we worked on fun end of the year activities.

After first recess and lunch we had Music.

We then had French with Mdm. Stella.

After second recess and lunch, we continued working on end of year activities and then we played a trivia game.

Terrific Tuesday!

We began the day working on a special activity.

We then had physical education with Mr. Slyk.

When students returned, they continued working on their special activity.

Students then practiced for their Recycling presentation. Today, Karina, Ronit, and Avaneesh presented to Ms. Martin’s class and they did a fantastic job!!!!

We then worked on an activity where we became more aware of the ways that we use water.

After first recess and lunch we had Music.

Following Music, we had French with Mdm. Stella.

After second recess and lunch, students worked on an end of year memento.

Homework:

1.     Read for 20 minutes

2.     Graduation tomorrow 9am-10am

3.     Casual day tomorrow

4.     Bake Sale tomorrow

Marvelous Monday!

Some Reminders:

1. Graduation is on Wednesday at 9am-10am

-Students are asked to come dressed in formal casual clothing

2. Bake Sale:

Tomorrow and Wednesday

3. Friday is dress up spirit day. Students are asked to come dressed in their house colours.

4. If not already brought in, students are being asked to bring in a picture of themselves 4cm by 4cm (largest 6cm by 6cm)

We began the day working on an end of year memento and then on a special activity.

After, we worked on unit 33 spelling words.

After first recess and lunch, we continued working on our RECYCLING presentations. We practiced our presentation to ensure we are ready for when we will present to other SJA classes.

We then had French with Mdm. Stella.

After second recess and lunch, we had physical education with Mr. Slyk.

After Manny shared his action!!! He has joined Earth Rangers. He informed us that he was put on the Wall of Fame for his initiative to help the planet!

He created and posted signs in his community to remind his neighbours to reduce, reuse, and recycle!!! He also explained how he has taken it upon himself to raise money and awareness for the Peregrine Falcons who are in danger due to habitat loss. He let us know that if we also wanted to help the Peregrine Falcons, we can donate money and help our friend Earth Ranger Manny!
