Wonderful Wednesday!!

We began the day with our delicious pancake breakfast!!

Next we had French and then Gym.

After first recess and lunch learned about measuring perimeter in centimetres during math class. We learned that perimeter is the distance around an object or figure.

We used geoboards to figure out the perimeter of different shapes. We noticed that different shapes could have the same perimeter.

After we talked about how sometimes our figures can be irregular. But we still add all the sides up. If we don't have a grid we have to measure. So we measured various figures in partners and figured out the perimeter of these figures.

Students spent most of the math lesson with a lot of hands-on learning with perimeter.

During recess, students continued to perform action by building various structures out of snow!!!

Next we read chapter 2 of our novel study: A perfect time for Pandas.

After first recess and lunch we had our spring fundraiser assembly. Check it out!!!!

At the end of the day we read chapter three of our novel study.
