Today was our trip to Benares Historic
House!
In the morning we learned about various
winter celebrations: Kwanzaa, Diwali, Chinese New Year, Las Posadas, and Hanukah.
We did activities related to these holidays.
In the afternoon, we were able to explore the Benares home and learn how Christmas would have been celebrated in the past. We also baked cookies, played games, and made holiday crafts!!
