Tremendous Thursday!!
We began the day having French with Mlle.
Jessica.
We then continued learning about how to use
a place value and did some example as a class.
We then had physical education.
When we returned, we showed our
understanding of how to represent numbers using a place value mat in our math
books.
Following first recess and lunch, we
practiced our summative presentation in groups providing positive feedback for
our peers.
We then went over to the library to
celebrate national book day (in England). We reminded ourselves of the rules we
follow when in a library and then we chose a book to read; then we spent time
reading in the library.
After second recess and lunch we started
learning about paragraph writing. We first discuss the purpose of a paragraph
and then of the topic sentence of a paragraph. We did some examples as a class
and then showed our understanding of writing a topic sentence using pictures.
