Tremendous Tuesday!
We began the day sharing our amazing long
weekends!
We then had physical education.
When we returned, we marked our math
reviews together.
Following first recess and lunch, we had
music with Mr. Oliver.
When returned, we worked on our spelling
words for the week.
After second recess and lunch, we talked
about natural disasters that could happen that would cause us to leave our
home. We talked about the fire in Fort McMurray and how the people who lived
there had to pack the things they need quickly. We imagined that there was a
flood and we were only given ten minutes to pack what we NEED. Here is what we
came up with:
This activity really helped us understand
that needs are items that we would need immediately and to survive and wants
are items that we could live without.
