Marvelous Monday!
We began the day working on our spelling
words of the week.
We then had French and then Gym.
After first recess and lunch we dove into
our new math unit!!! We learned how multiplication is just repeated addition!!!
For example:
2+2+2=6
2x3 = 6
We learned how to use arrays to better understand multiplication as a class.
Using arrays:
Then we used cheerios to make multiplication
arrays!!! We are having fun with math!! Ms. Jaskolka was so impressed that we
did so well with multiplication today!!!
After, we practiced for the Christmas
concert.
Following second recess and lunch we
practiced for Science Fair.
At the end of the day, we went over to the
Grade 5’s Ancient civilization museum. They did such a wonderful job!!!!
