Fantastic Friday!
Action Star:
Saanvi wanted to know if there was real fruit in gummy
bears so she looked at the ingredients and saw there were no fruits in the
gummy bears. Great Job practicing Media
Literacy Saanvi!
We began the day doing our spelling test and then some cursive.
Then students were off to physical education with Ms. Lovan.
When students returned, they began working on their final
project for our unit of inquiry that is about Media. Students decided what
product they would like to advertise and then began creating their
advertisement. We will be working on these next week.
Afterwards, we had our Remembrance Day assembly.
Students watched two videos to help them learn more about why this day is so important and why we wear the poppy on this day. Here are the videos:

Here is Teni:
Before recess, we were using the clock we made yesterday to
learn about time. We first counted by ones to see that there are 60 minutes in
one hour. We then counted by 5s to make it easier when we are telling time. We learned about an analog and digital clock.
After first recess and lunch, students had French.
When students returned they wrote their homework in their
agenda. We then continued learning how to use the clock.
After second recess and lunch, we were teaching each other
how to tell time.
At the end of the day, students practiced read to self.
