We spent the day with Ms. DaCosta’s class because she is
sick.
We began the day having art with Mr. Monoghan and physical
education with Ms. Lovan.
Afterwards, we continued learning about materials and what
objects are made of. Ms. Jaskolka looked around the classroom and told us the
materiel of an object, and then we needed to figure out what the object was.
Then we had a turn to look around our classroom and inquire into what the
various objects in our room are made of. We then completed a worksheet where we
needed to figure out if an object was made of plastic, wood, or metal. We also
looked at different objects and answered if they were made of glass, wood,
feathers, metal, or fabric.
We then had lunch and got ready for our trip.
We spent most of the afternoon tree decorating in Streetsville
and having some fun.
When we returned, we continued working on the materials
worksheets from this morning and then did some silent reading.
We did such a great job today that Ms. Jaskolka gave us each
house points at the end of the day!
