Tremendous Tuesday!
We began the day having
French with Mdm. Stella.
Students then continued
practicing writing paragraphs that describe about a certain topic. Today
students were given a picture of a man who got hurt and a doctor next to him.
Students came up with the topic sentence and three detailed sentences. Students
are getting much better at writing their own paragraphs!
Then students had Art with
Ms. Kerr.
After first recess and
lunch, students had physical education with Mr. Slyk.
During math we played another exciting game with spinners! We
chose a spinner and then used it to race a tortoise and a hare. We spun the
spinner ten times. We know that the paper clip will most likely land on the
area that takes up the most amount of space on the spinner. We also know that
when the spinner is split in half, it is likely that the paperclip will land on
either side.
We then continued working on our bridges.
At the end of the day, students wrote their homework in their
agenda and then kept on working on their bridges.
