Spirit Day Dress Up Day tomorrow!!
Tomorrow students will dress up in
earth day colours (green and blue)
to celebrate Earth day!!
Dance
Party!!!
There are still tickets left for
the SJA Dance Party! This exciting event will be taking place on
Friday from 2pm - 3:30pm! There will be lots of fun to be had for all the
students! There will also be a snack & juice bar set up where
students can choose to purchase yummy snacks while having fun at the dance
(cost of snacks is extra). Prices will start at
$1.00. Don't miss out on this exciting school-wide event!
We will be having a bake sale next week. Students are being asked to bring in
some yummy treats on Tuesday for the bake sale
We will be having our spelling test
tomorrow.
Attention all parents and students:
We are having our Spring Fundraiser to raise funds to support our Science and
Physical Education Program! There will be a variety of exciting EVENTS with a
number of amazing PRIZES for students to win through their participation!

Furthermore,
A Pledge form went home in efforts
to renovate the school’s science lab and PE program. We kindly ask that all
donations be turned in by Thursday, April 28th, 2016. All
students who collect a minimum donation amount of $35.00 will
be treated to a bowling party on April 29th!
Prizes can also be won for students
who raise money! Grand prizes include a movie and pizza party; this is for the
class that raises the most money!
We began the day writing our homework in
our agendas and then reviewing what we have learned so far about ways that we
can protect, help, and save our planet.
We then had physical education with Mr.
Slyk.
After, we wrote our math test.
When students were finished, we continued
our brainstorm for the morning. After, we worked in groups to match earth day
definitions into our lapbook.
After first recess and lunch, students had
Music.
Then students were off to French.
During second lunch, we had our ice cream
sundaes!!
After, we continued working on our recounts
from yesterday. We are learning how to write/tell about a certain topic or book
using detail.
