Wonderful Wednesday!!!
We began the day writing a journal entry
about what we are thankful for. Part of being a good citizen is appreciating
all of the wonderful things that we have. As a class, we had a conversation
about what we are all thankful for and then we wrote about them. We were very
reflective during our journal writing today!
We then had French and then Gym.
After first recess and lunch we dove into
our new math unit with some fun addition and subtraction games!!!!
We then began reading a book about
accepting and respecting others. We will continue this book tomorrow and have a
conversation about how this book fits in with our unit and the many learner
profiles exhibited in this book.
After second recess and lunch we practiced
more sentence writing. We looked at some examples and then worked together to
figure out the topic of the sentence. We were then very exited to make our own
sentences and state the topic!!! Next, we were given pictures and a topic and
came up with the sentence on our own.
