Marvelous Monday!!
We began the day working with our spelling
words for the week.
Next we had French and then Gym.
After first recess and lunch we had Music.
When we returned, students continued
presenting their summative projects. Ms. Jaskolka is so impressed with how our
presentation skills have improved and how reflective we have been during the
building of our bridges!!!

After second recess and lunch we began our
new unit of inquiry! We will be learning about endangered and extinct animals.
We first did a pre-assessment about endangered and extinct animals to show Ms.
Jaskolka what we already know about this
topic. We then wrote down a question for our wonder wall about our new unit of
inquiry.
Next we went outside!! We will be spending
a lot of time outside to develop our appreciation and love for nature!!
Actions Stars:
Nathan brought in stuffed animals of animals that are endangered!
Then we got to meet our new friend!!!! We
sat in a circle and each had a peek into the bag that our friend came in. We
realized that we adopted a narwhal. This made us very excited with many of our fascination
with unicorns! Including Ms. Jaskolka!
We got a certificate thanking us for our
contribution and a poster to get to know more about narwhals.
Then we had some fun outside with our new
narwhal friend and cuddly (a panda adopted last year!)
