Tremendous Tuesday!!
We began the day using the tablets to
perform research about endangered animals using the app WWF Together. We researched
about the food, habitat, any interesting facts and the reason for endangerment.
We will continue practicing our researching skills tomorrow.
Then we had French and then Gym.
After first recess and lunch we watch the
Grade 3-6 Art’s Night Performance! We were blown away with their amazing
singing, dancing, musical and acting skills!!
After second recess and lunch we
went on our nature walk. Today’s focus was to explore the natural world around
us and gain an appreciation for all living things. We also found a journey
stick. We will use our journey stick as a form of story telling. While on our
nature walk we will wrap around items that we find to tell a story about our
journey.
Did you know: In
many countries, people have developed the idea of creating a journey stick to
help them tell the story of their journey to others. It involves tying objects
and colours to a stick that represent different experiences, feelings or parts
of their journey.
On our next nature walk on Thursday, we
will look for items to tie onto our journey stick to represent our different experiences, feelings and parts of
our journey.
