Tremendous Tuesday!!!
We began the day with our Spelling Bee!! Congratulations
to all the competitors who worked so hard!!!!
After first recess and lunch we watched and
performed in the Art’s night performance.
Here is a sneak peek!
At the end of the day we learned about the
artist, Pablo Picasso. We looked at a PowerPoint as a class and realized that
his cubism art fits so well with our current math unit!!!
We found out that at just 13 years old he
had his very first exhibit. Maybe this could be us one day!!! Today we began
working on endangered animal art using pattern blocks, relating our art to
Picasso who also used shapes in his art!!
Homework:

Read for 20 minutes

Wear art’s night costume
