Fantastic Friday!
We began the day having our spelling test and then working
on our cursive.
After, we had physical education with Ms. Lovan.
When students returned, we continued our experiment from
yesterday, determining which container held the most and least amount of water.
We used a teacup, a mug, a bowl, and a milk jug.
We found out that the tea cup held the least amount of water
so it had the smallest capacity; we now know that the milk jug has the most capacity
because it held the most amount of water. We then wrote out our findings in our
math books; we also did a tally and made a graph to show our information.
During UOI, we finished working on our water conservation
posters, teaching others using pictures, how to protect our limited supply of
water and keep it clean.
After first recess and lunch, we had French. After we went
to watch the PYP Exhibition.
Following the Exhibition, we had second lunch and then
Tristan read us a Bernstein Bear Book that taught us why it is so important not
to pollute.
At the end of the day, we went outside to play.
