Tremendous Thursday!

We began the day having our spelling test.

We then had an exciting water presentation from the Peel Region! We learned more about the water cycle (evaporation, condensation, and precipitation) and the human water cycle. We watched a puppet show also about conserving water!!

After, we completed our Math Reviews for Mass and Capacity.

After first recess and lunch, we had French. When students returned they wrote their homework in their agendas and then completed a water conservation activity using stickers!

After second recess and lunch, we had Art. We began working on something called fractured art using warm and cool colours
o   Warm = orange, red, yellow
o   Cool = green, blue, purple
Students were each given a picture of an animal with lines through it to create a “fractured” look.
They coloured each section a different colour; the inside of the animal with warm colours and the outside in cool colours.

Homework:
1.     Read for 20 minutes
2.    Spelling test signed
3.    Ice cream form due May 21
4.    Reading Comprehension due Tuesday
5.    Math test Tuesday

6.    Choir registration: Seohyeon, Dolapo, and Teni
