Tremendous Thursday!!
Reminder: After School Care payments are due by October 19, after this date
late fees will be added.
Also: We will be having a movie night on October 23. If you would
like your child to attend, please bring in the payment by tomorrow.
We began the day having French with Mdm. Stella.
We then wrote our homework in our agendas and then continued
working on our UOI project.
After we continued working on our flags with Ms. Kerr.
Following first recess and lunch we continued to practice
estimating and group counting by ten. We also explained why counting by 10 is
helpful. When we group count by ten (making groups of ten / using ten frames)
we are able to count quicker.
We then finished off working on our good copies and started
reading over our information about our country in preparation for tomorrow’s
presentation.
After second recess and lunch, we had Aanika, Noah, and
Ronit present about their countries.
At the end of the day, Ronit was again an Action star! He let us know 6 facts about Japan that he researched
at home. Great job Ronit!
