Tremendous Thursday!!!
Here are our designs that we worked so hard
on for our futuristic transportation. First we made three different designs and
then we chose one that we would build. Ms. Jaskolka is very impressed with our creative
and well detailed designs and how we were able to use these designs to help us
build our vehicles! Next week, Ms. Jaskolka will post pictures of our vehicles
that we will use to display on Art’s Night in June.
We began the day having an exciting Easter
house game!!!
We then had French with Mlle. Jessica.
Afterwards, we continued painting our
vehicles. While some friends were painting the rest of us worked on a measuring
activity. We worked in groups to measure objects using paperclips, crayons and pencils.
We noticed that we needed to use much more paperclips to measure our items than
crayons or pencils!
Following first recess and lunch we had our spelling test.
Next we worked on some fun Easter activities. First, we realized the Easter bunny forgot one of his eggs!!! It was our job to decorate the Easter egg forgotten by the Easter bunny. After, we gave the Easter bunny some advice about where we think he/she should hide his/her Easter eggs. Then, we imagined we were the Easter bunny and came up with our own name and description. What fun!!!
After second recess and lunch we continued working on our fun Easter activities! While we were working on our activities we noticed that Easter eggs were hidden around our classroom!!! We all went on a mission to find the hidden eggs!!! We then tried to guess who left behind these yummy treats!!! We found out the Easter bunny was Hayden!!! Thank you Hayden!
Have a wonderful long weekend to all my
friends!!
