Wonderful Wednesday!
We began the day have French with Mlle.
Jessica.
We then continued exploring capacity during
math. We looked at three containers and predicted which one would hold the most
water and which one would hold the least. We then performed our experiment as a
class. We figured out that the biggest container had the greatest amount of
capacity out of the three and the smallest container had the least amount of
capacity. We tallied our answer and ordered our containers from greatest
capacity to least.
Next we were off to gym.
Here are Arnav's adventures with Cuddly!!
When we returned Hayden and Ben shared
their fun filled evenings with Cuddly!!!!
Adam will be taking Cuddly tonight. Have
fun!!
Aidan also shared some action with the
class. He brought in a book from home and taught us about two endangered
animals, the Black Colobus and the Bridled Nailtail Wallaby, and the threats
they are facing. WOW! Great action Aidan!!
Following first recess and lunch we went on
our nature walk. Today’s focus was on exploring the natural world around us and
gaining an appreciation for all living things. We also found a journey stick.
We will use our journey stick as a form of story telling. While on our nature
walk we will wrap around items that we find to tell a story about our journey.
After second recess and lunch we finished
reading chapter 15 of The Borrowers.
After Guess What!!!! We go to water balloon
