Tremendous Tuesday!

We began the day with music class.

Then we reviewed when to use GCF and LCM when working with ratios:

Next, we worked on a mid-unit review to show our understanding of what we have learned so far. Here is the picture needed to answer questions 5 of the mid-unit review.

Then we got into our literature circles for chapter 12. Why is the mayor hoarding so many items and not telling anyone???? Will he get caught????

After first recess and lunch we had French class.

Then we learned about limericks. We looked at some examples and them came up with success criteria about how to write a limerick.

Success Criteria I describe the form of a limerick

  • limerick is an amusing verse of five lines
  • Lines 1, 2, and 5 rhyme and lines 3 and 4 rhyme
  • Line 5 refers to line 1
  • Lines 3 and 4 are usually shorter than the other lines

Then we were given the rest of the day to practice for our summative presentations taking place tomorrow. Those who felt they were confident about their presentations moved on to building their electric cars.

Homework:

1. Read Daily
2. Math - mid unit review
3. International Day research and information due Thursday
4. Read and role for chapter 13
5. Casual day forms are due
6. French homework
