Fantastic Friday!
We began the day having our unit 12 spelling test review. We
then continued working on our kites from yesterday.
The
kite is split into four sections:
1. We described one character
from the book using at least three sentences.
2. We illustrated our
favourite part of the book.
3. We retold the book using
First, Next, Then and Last.
4. We also explained our
opinion of the book ensuring to give reasons for our opinion.
Afterwards,
we had physical education with Ms. Lovan.
When
students returned, we read the story again from yesterday and determined how to
show the time that the students went to school and when they finished school
using an analog and digital clock. We then determined the temperature in the
morning, at noon, and in the evening using a thermometer.
We
presented our structure assignment during UOI. Here we are:

After first recess and lunch, the four girls went caroling and Wahkeen joined Ms. Jaskolka in Ms. Rossi’s room.
When
students returned, they ate lunch and completed any unfinished work from the
week.
