Wonderful Wednesday!
***We have our Field Trip tomorrow, please come on time and
in full uniform
We began the day learning about Pink Shirt Day and how we
all wore Pink today to stand up against bullying. We wore pink to show that there
are no boy or girl colours and that we should only be kind and caring towards
others. We then played an exciting house game in all our pink shirts!
After we had physical education with Ms. Lovan.
When students returned, we began our presentations for our
UOI projects. Some were too long to post.
We then moved on to Math. We practiced two digit addition
and subtraction with word problems looking out for the key words so that we
knew when to do each one.
After first recess and lunch we had French. When students
returned they wrote their homework in their agendas and then Ms. V taught us
about bullying and how it affects others. She had us crumple a piece of paper
and then try and smooth it out; we could not get it back to how it used to be.
We then tried apologizing to it, but the paper was still crumpled up. We
learned that while it is good to apologize when we say and do something that
hurts our friends, it is better to be kind and caring.
After second recess and lunch we read chapter 3 of Chocolate
Fever and then wrote a letter to Mrs. Kimmelfarber explaining to Mrs. Green
what is happening to Henry. Henry got all these brown spots that just appeared!
At the end of the day, we learned about writing a list and
then wrote our own.
