Fantastic Friday!!

Attention all parents and students: We are having our Spring Fundraiser to raise money for a new playground!!! We will be raising money from April 10-April 23.

Our reward for raising a minimum of 35 dollars is going to Planet bowl on April 24.

We also have exciting rewards that will be happening at school when we reach these check points:

1000- Mr. Monaghan will dress up as Elsa or Anna

3000-Mr. Polumbo will be waxing his legs

5000-Mr. Sawatsky Pie in the face

7000-Students water balloon their teachers!!!

There are also class prizes!!

Starting April 20

The top class each day will receive:

-pajama day

-afternoon movie day

-extra recess

-games afternoon

-go play at the park

Next week’s exciting fundraising events:

1.     Second Cup Coffee Sale: April 20 and 24

2.     Coffee Bean Sale: student who sells the most coffee will receive 5000 house points and a free pizza lunch

3.     Bake Sale: April 13 and 14

4.     Pancake Breakfast: April 16

5.     Fun Day Sundae: April 15

We began the day with our spelling test and then worked on any unfinished work from the week. Before gym, we finished off our UOI presentations about our cultural dolls that we made. Students did a fantastic job with this project! The dolls look wonderful! Ms. Jaskolka appreciates your hard work and learned so much from you!!

After, we had physical education with Ms. Lovan.

When students returned, they wrote their math test. I will return them on Monday.

After first recess and lunch, we had French. When students returned they wrote their homework in their agendas and we discussed the Spring Fundraiser and how excited we are to go bowling and to have a new playground!! Before recess, we had some hot chocolate and marshmallows and celebrated Seohyeon’s birthday.

After second recess and lunch, students sang happy birthday to Seohyeon and the students gave her cards they made. 

We then began making circle trees for art just like the artist Kandinsky. They look wonderful! We will continue working on them next week.

Homework:

1.     Read for 20 minutes

2.     Choir trip: changed to 30 dollars

Forms are due April 17
