Totally Terrific and Tremendous Thursday!!
A Reminder: We have no school Friday or Monday! J
We began the day with two exciting Easter games!! The first
one, select students needed to walk holding a raw egg on a spoon. When students
reached their destination, they picked a part of the Easter bunny to put
together. After, one teacher from each house went up on stage and needed to
crack eggs on their heads!! They were given six, four were cooked and two were
raw; the teachers needed to try and pick the cooked eggs so that they did not
have egg all over their head!! Ms. Jaskolka participated and did not get a raw
egg! Here are pictures:
After, we had our spelling test and then had a discussion
about autism; today is autism awareness day. We then read The Easter Egg by Jan
Brett. After we wrote about our own incredible egg and then made our own using
pastels. They turned out wonderful!!
After first recess and lunch, we had French. After French,
we began writing in our agendas and then Teni found a letter from the Easter
bunny!!! He told us that he left some treats for us and that we should follow
the clues to find them:
After second recess and lunch, we decorated Easter cookies and then read Easter Cat by Deborah Underwood. We learned how hard it is to be the Easter bunny and that he gets very tired!
After, we continued working on our incredible eggs while we
answered some riddles about Easter.
