March Break camp registration will be sent home by the end of this week. If parents have any questions they can email Ms. Smith
We began the day writing our homework in our agenda and then more friends had the opportunity to present their poems using expression and volume.
Students then had physical education with Mr. Slyk.
When students returned, they continued playing the probability
game from yesterday. After students tallied their results, they made a bar grow
showing their information and then answered questions about their graph.
Students then worked on some fun graphing activities.
After first recess and lunch, students had Music.
Then students were off to French.
After second recess and lunch we worked on explanation
writing. We made a brainstorm as a class explaining what is a banana and where
it comes from.
Students’ then used this brainstorm to write their
explanation about a banana.
Writing prompt: Imagine that you have to explain what a
banana is and where it comes from to someone who has never seen or heard of
one.
At the end of the day, students worked on some Groundhog
themed Word Work activities.
