**Art Reach forms went home today. They are due December 8. We will learn from actual artists during this workshop!!

Terrific Tuesday!

We began the day having art with Mr. Monaghan and physical education with Ms. Lovan.

When students returned, we continued to practice counting coins (pennies, dimes, nickels, and quarters). Ms. Jaskolka put questions up on the white board that we needed to figure out using the coins.

** Our Math Test has been moved to Tuesday, December 9, 2014

During UOI, we discussed the difference between strength and stability and how it is important that structures are both strong and stable. We also began writing important words that we need to know for our unit and we defined them as well. We defined object, materials, structure, strength and stability.

After first recess and lunch, students had French.

When students returned, they wrote their homework in their agenda. Afterwards, they continued working on the money problems from the morning and defining words for our UOI unit.

After second recess and lunch, we wrote three things that we are excited to do during the Christmas holidays in our journals. We made sure to add detail to our writing.

Afterwards, we joined Ms. DaCosta’s class and practiced for the Christmas concert.
