Wonderful Wednesday!!!

We began the day working on our Math Review for 2-D and 3-D shapes.

Next we continued researching about endangered animals using the WWF app.

Then we had Gym.

After first recess and lunch we brainstormed as a class what we learned this term and what we had the most fun doing this term. Then we wrote our last page of our report card discussing what we learned, what we improved on and what he had the most fun doing in the third term.

Next we discussed the learner profile for the month: Principled. We talked about what it means to be principled: being fair and honest. We then worked on an activity where we wrote and drew a picture of how we can be principled in our day-to-day life.

We did a lot of reflecting today!!!

After second recess and lunch we continued researching about endangered animals using the WWF app.

Tremendous Tuesday!!

We began the day using the tablets to perform research about endangered animals using the app WWF Together. We researched about the food, habitat, any interesting facts and the reason for endangerment. We will continue practicing our researching skills tomorrow.

Then we had French and then Gym.

After first recess and lunch we watch the Grade 3-6 Art’s Night Performance! We were blown away with their amazing singing, dancing, musical and acting skills!!

After second recess and lunch we went on our nature walk. Today’s focus was to explore the natural world around us and gain an appreciation for all living things. We also found a journey stick. We will use our journey stick as a form of story telling. While on our nature walk we will wrap around items that we find to tell a story about our journey.

Did you know: In many countries, people have developed the idea of creating a journey stick to help them tell the story of their journey to others. It involves tying objects and colours to a stick that represent different experiences, feelings or parts of their journey.
On our next nature walk on Thursday, we will look for items to tie onto our journey stick to represent our different experiences, feelings and parts of our journey.
