Wonderful Wednesday!

We began the day curling!!

When we returned we had lunch.

Then we moved onto math. We took up the homework form last night and moved onto volume. Our learning goal for today: Finding the volume of a Rectangular prism using the formula Volume of a rectangular prism = base area x h
V=lw x h
V = A x h
V= Ah
We came to understand that volume is the the amount of space it fills measured in cubic units

Volume of a rectangular prism = base area x h
V=lw x h
V = A x h
V= Ah

We worked on some questions related to volume.

Success Criteria:

I am able to find the volume of a rectangular prism using the formula Volume of a rectangular prism = base area x h
V=lw x h
V = A x h
V= Ah
-I can answer problem solving questions related to volume

Then we moved onto novel a discussing chapters 3 and 4 as a class of Tuck Everlasting.

After second recess and lunch we worked in partners to practice for Student Led Conferences that are happening tomorrow.

Homework:

1.    Read Chapter 5 and 6 of Tuck Everlasting and answers questions on pages 20-27
2.    Math sheets on volume

3.    Math test Monday
