Fantastic and Fabulous Friday!!
We began the day learning who won track and
field awards. Manny was one of them!!
We then wrote our spelling test.
After we had gym with Mr. Slyk.
Afterwards, we met Ms. S who did a water
pollution experiment with us. She showed us what happens to water when we
pollute it and she also showed how difficult it is to clean polluted water!!!
As a result, we came to the conclusion that we should employ various strategies
to keep our waters clean. Some examples:
-Do not throw garbage in the water
-Car pool with Friends
-Use electric cars
-Bike, Walk, rollerblade
-Use public transportation
Here we are performing the experiment:
After first recess and lunch, we had a
water presentation done by Peel Water; they taught us all about the human water
cycle. We learned how water is cleaned and brought to our homes and what
happens when water goes down the drain. Here we are:
We then worked on our RECYCLING
presentations that we will be performing next week to various classes.
After second recess and lunch, we continued
working on our RECYCLING presentations.
