Tremendous Thursday!
A reminder that tomorrow we will
be having our Math and
Spelling
test.
We began the day having French with Mlle.
Jessica.
We then wrote our math review for Data
Management and Probability.
Next, we had physical education with Mr. H.
When students returned, they did a reading
comprehension activity related to our new UOI unit. We read about various
community helpers and answered questions related to the passage.
Following first recess and lunch, we
reviewed the proper format of a letter and then we wrote one based on our given
topic:
Students will write a letter to Fatima who is moving to Canada in
August. You want to convince her to come to our school and you will write a
letter explained why our school would be a good choice.
After, we went over to Ms. Baimas’ class
and watched two videos about the importance of being a good citizen and how we
can go about being good citizens. Here are all the ideas we came up with:
At the end of the day, we marked our own reading
comprehension activity. After, we worked on our writing. We wrote a journal
entry explaining our favourite community helper.
