Ms. Jaskolka is so so so proud of our performance!
We began the day working with our review
words from lessons 25-29.
Next we had French and then Gym.
After first recess and lunch we dove into
math. Today our focus was on 3-D shapes. Check out our learning:
Next we worked in groups to get a better understanding
of the properties of 3-D shapes. Ms. Jaskolka gave us a challenge: we were
given 8 shapes and we worked together to figure out how many faces, vertices
and edges each shape has.
Then we began reading chapter 6 of our
novel study: Perfect Time for Pandas-The Dragon wakes!!!
After second recess and lunch we read a
book about endangered animals: Will we miss them? Our story taught us that the
best way that we can help our endangered animal friends is first to get to know and understand them!! So that is what we did today!!
At the end of the day we had some sharing
time from the weekend and also we shared action.
Arya taught us more about bees and her long weekend adventures!
Nyla showed us a video about her trip to
Niagara and some facts about endangered animals!!
