Tremendous Thursday!
We began the day presenting our advertisements to our
classmates and our peers let us know what we did well and if we forgot to
include something in our advertisements.
The there video was too long to load.
After we had physical education with Ms. Lovan.
During Math, we learned how to use a Mira to find a line of
symmetry. We noticed that when we use the Mira we can see the reflection of one
side in the Mira line up with the other side, if both sides of an object,
figure, or letter have equal parts. We then looked at a square and used the
Mira to find the lines of symmetry. We then looked at various pictures and
determined the line of symmetry. After, we did the same with letters. We then
had a challenge of coming up with a word that had a line of symmetry! Some words
we came up with were WOW and OH.
After we had UOI. We wrote and drew about the various things
that we can reduce, reuse and recycle. We came up with so many ideas!
After first recess and lunch we had French. After we wrote
our homework in our agendas and then completed unfinished work.
After second recess and lunch we did two art activities. We
did a special art activity first and then we started making an Earth by using
recycled blue and green paper; we ripped the blue and green paper into small
pieces and then glued them on the Earth.
