Wonderful Wednesday!
A Reminder: We have no school Friday or Monday! J
We began the day having Art with Mr. Monaghan and physical education with Ms. Lovan.
In Math, we practiced two-digit addition with coins.
We then wrote a letter to a friend describing how to find
Easter eggs that we have hidden in our house. We made sure to use detail and
specific instructions so that our friend knew exactly where the eggs are hidden
and exactly how to find them.
After first recess and lunch, students had French. After, we
wrote our homework in our agendas and then continued writing our journal entry
and then drawing the instructions to show our friend where the eggs are hidden.
After second recess and lunch, we read There was an old lady
who swallowed a chick. Frist she swallowed a chick. Second, she swallowed some
straw to cover the chick. Third, she swallowed the egg to jazz up the straw.
Fourth, she swallowed some candy to sweeten the egg. Fifth, she swallowed a
basket to carry the candy and last she swallowed a bow to put on the basket. At
the end, she met the Easter bunny!! After, we practiced sequencing and
retelling with a fun activity about the book.
