Fantastic and wonderful Friday!
The grade 2’s have
been working so hard! Ms. Jaskolka is very happy and proud! Have a great
weekend!!
We began the day with an assembly congratulating the
inquirer and knowledgeable winners for September and October. Here they are:
We then had our Spelling test.
When we were finished, we wrote the good copy of our donut
advertisement.
We then continued working on our summative project. We wrote
out either a radio or television commercial that we will perform in front of
the class next week for a product that we created.
After first recess and lunch, we had physical education with
Ms. Lovan.
When students returned, they continued working on their
commercials.
After, students continued cutting out and colouring coins
for their Money Flip Flap book; this book will help the students understand and
learn more about each coin and how to count them.
Following second recess and lunch, students wrote their
homework in their agendas and then we finished reading chapter 9 of Chocolate
Fever. We learned that Mac’s truck has been hijacked by two men! These two men,
Louise and Lefty thought that Mac had a truck full of furs but really all he
has are chocolate bars; the robbers are not happy because they expected to make
a lot of money from stolen fur!
At the end of the day we had some free time since we have been
working so hard!!
