Terrific and Tremendous
Thursday!
Wow
how this year has flew by!! I want to thank all of the students and their families
for such a wonderful start to the school year! I am looking forward to all the
fun and learning that we will have and do in the new year! Wishing all of you a
wonderful, fantastic, and magical holiday!

We began the day
having French with Mdm. Stella.
We then wrote our
homework in our agendas and then continued working on Holiday Spelling and
Languages packages.
Each student was given a
math package to complete over the holiday. This way, the students will continue
to practice two digit subtraction and addition. Furthermore, students will also
gain a better understanding of when to add and subtract when solving word
problems. When students return, they will be much more prepared for the upcoming
unit test in January. The packages are due January 6th.
Following first recess and lunch,
students had gym with Ms. Lovan.
When students returned, they wrote about their pet reindeer (name, where they
found their reindeer, where they are kept, what they like to do, what they do
not like to do, their favourite food, how they take care of their reindeer,
what makes their reindeer special). Then students made their reindeers. Didn’t
they turn out fantastic?!?:
After second recess and lunch,
we had four exciting holiday house games!!
What a fun and fantastic
day we had today!
