Prizes can also be won for students who raise money! Grand prizes include a movie and pizza party; this is for the class that raises the most money!

We began the day with our spelling test and then our homework in our agendas.

We then had physical education with Mr. Slyk.

When students returned, we began our new math unit about 2-D Geometry.  After we began our new unit for Math: 2-D Geometry. We looked at the big math book and discussed the various shapes that we saw and explained how we knew (I know it is a triangle because it has 3 edges and 3 vertices.) We then looked at another page of the big math book and solved riddles about 2-D shapes (I have six sides. Who am I? I am a hexagon; I have 4 sides. I am longer than I am wide. Who am I? I am a rectangle). Students then showed their knowledge of 2-D in their math books.

Students were then off to music.

After first recess and lunch, students had French with Mdm. Stella.

When students returned, they explored and wrote about the various ways that they can reduce, reuse, and recycle in order to help our earth.
