Monday!
Tomorrow is our Trip to Beneras Historic House. Students
are asked to be at the school for 8:30 in full dress uniform with a disposable
lunch.
At the Christmas concerts, various baskets
will be auctioned off to raise money for the school. Check out these amazing basket!!!
We
began the day having French with Mlle. Jessica.
Next we worked on math. First, we sat in a circle and we practiced mental math
as a group using number cards. Ms. Jaskolka timed us to see how quick we could
use our mental math skills. Today our time was 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
Tomorrow we will try to beat this time! We solved word problems using two digit
addition and subtraction and also decoded a puzzle using our knowledge of two digit
addition and subtraction.
Then we had physical education with
Mr. H.
When students returned, they
continued working on their math activities.
Following first recess and lunch we
practiced our lesson fourteen spelling words.
We then had music with Mr. Oliver.
Next, we joined Ms. Baimas’ class
for our auditions for the Grinch who stole Christmas.
After second recess and lunch we
continued with our spelling and then the auditions.
