We began the day practicing for student led conferences with a partner. We provided feedback and advice while our partner presented.
Next, we began working on a researching activity related to our UOI:
For this project, you will be researching one of Canada's aboriginal peoples. This project will be done independently. You will create a PowToon on the aboriginal group you have chosen. The PowToon will tell the audience about this people group before contact with Europeans and describe their close relationship with the environment.
We continued our research after lunch.
Then we walked over to the dome to watch the JK-2 Christmas concert. They all did a phenomenal job!!!!!
At the end of the day we had physical education with Mr. Orr.
Homework:
1. Read Daily
2. Novel Study chapters 14, 15, 16 (pages 42-45)
3. Finish research on First Nations group
