Tremendous Thursday

We began the day reading Why
Should I Share? by Mike Gordon and then writing a recount for the story. We
made sure to write our recount using First, Next, Then, and Last. Students
worked on their rough copy.
Students then had physical education with Ms. Lovan.
Afterwards, we joined Ms. DaCosta’s class for the rest of
the day because she needed to go to a meeting. During math, we continued learning
how to tell time. We worked on a time package where we needed to figure out at
what time we do certain activities. For example, at what time do we wake up in
the morning? We needed to fill in the time on an analog clock, a digital clock,
and fill in if we do this activity in the am or pm.
During UOI, we continued working on our summative project. Students
were finishing off their media form and then moving on to their rough copy.
After first recess and lunch, students had French.
We then wrote our homework in our agenda’s and completed any
unfinished work from the morning.
After second recess and lunch, students worked on the good
copy of their recount. For visual arts, students drew a picture for each
section of their recount. Students will complete their recounts tomorrow.
