We began our science fair project today. We watched two
videos that helped us understand what pollution is (when we make nature dirty) the
different kinds of pollution (air pollution, water pollution, land pollution,
and noise pollution) and how we can help the environment (reuse, reduce,
recycle).
We watched Bernstein Bears where we learned that “little
ideas can help solve BIG problems”
We also watched a video from Make me a Genius. If students
have a chance, I would like them to watch this video again tonight:
We had a great discussion about how we can help protect the environment!!
Tomorrow we will learn more about water pollution and do an experiment
about water pollution.
The rest of the day, the students were in Ms. DaCosta’s
class because Ms. Jaskolka needed to be with Ms. Soroka’s class today because
she is sick.
