Fantastic Friday!!!
We began the day reciting the Guy Fawkes
Poem. Here are our brave risk takers!!!!
Next, we had our Spelling test.
After, students were of to physical
education.
When students returned, we
discussed telling time to the next quarter hour. We did an example together. We
come into class at 9 o’clock. What time would it be in 15 minutes? We counted
by fives until we got to 15. We continued this until we got to 9:45 and we
needed to figure out what time it would be in 15 minutes. We know that it is
already 9 o’clock so the time cannot be 9 again, therefore in 15 minutes the
time would be 10 o’clock. After, we completed an activity in our math books
figuring out the time to the next quarter hour.
Following first
recess and lunch, we had Music.
We then began
working on our summative project in UOI. We are creating a healthy menu and exercise
guide using our knowledge from the unit.
After second recess
and lunch, we read chapter 19 of Charlotte’s Web.
We then had
sharing time. During sharing time we sang Happy Birthday to Hayden, who’s
birthday is on Sunday. Happy Birthday Hayden!!
