Wonderful Wednesday!!!

We began the day having French with Mlle. Jessica.

We then made our own thermometers in math. We worked in partners to practice reading a thermometer. After, we worked on some temperature activities.

Next, we had physical education with Mr. H.

When we returned, we continued working on our time activities.

Following first recess and lunch, we wrote an explanation about a newly invented toy. We ensured to answer: who, what, where, when, and why about our robots.

We then started presenting our healthy eating and exercise guides:

After second recess and lunch, as read A Poppy is to Remember to gain a better understanding about Remembrance Day and the significance of the poppy. We learned that we wear a poppy to remember the soldiers, the wounded, those who lost loved ones, doctors, and nurses. We also had a conversation about why the soldiers went out to fight in a war. We discussed how these soldiers are protecting us, our country, and keep us safe.

We then had a Remembrance ceremony in the auditorium. The grade 4’s taught us more about why we commemorate this important day and then we wrote letters to soldiers, thanking them for their service:
