Tremendous Thursday!!
We began the day having French with Mlle.
Jessica.
When then dove into math. We
reviewed how to tell time. We are reminded that when the hour hand is in
between two numbers, the hour is the number that comes before. For example,
when the hour hand is in between 3 and 4, the hour hand has not reached the
four yet, and so the hour is still 3. We also looked at the differences between
an analog and digital clock. After, we worked on some time activities to help
us better understand how to tell time. We needed to figure out and show on an analog clock the times we
do certain activities during the day. For example, at what time do we wake up
in the morning? We needed to fill in the time on an analog clock, a digital
clock, and fill in if we do this activity in the am or pm. We also practiced
telling time using an analog and digital clock.
We were then off to physical
education with Mr. H.
When students returned, they
continued working on their time activities.
Following first recess and lunch,
we relaxed our bodies and exercised our minds through meditation.
We then had a
catch up period.
Following second
recess and lunch, we did word work with our spelling words to be better
prepared for our test tomorrow.
Next, we began
reading chapter 19 of Charlotte’s Web.
