Tremendous Tuesday!!
We began the day with math. We took up the homework from last night. Ms. Jaskolka also gave us a sheet to help us better understand how to extend patterns.
We also took up our homework for chapter 1 of our novel study. Today our focus was on perspective and how the same event can be occurring but is experienced differently by each individual; May Belle and May Belle’s mother were both together in the morning but they experienced the events that transpired in different ways. We shared perspectives of each of the characters and had a conversation about how there are always two sides to a story and that in life, it is important to always think about other perspectives and not only our own. Thinking about other perspectives will allow us to better understand the people around us and help us to build stronger relationships with the people in our lives.
We were then given time to work on our math and novel study homework.
Then we had French.
After lunch we went to watch the JK-2 Art’s Night. They did a wonderful job!!!!
At the end of the day we had physical education with Mr. Orr.
