 few quick reminders:
·      Monday is Day 3.
·      Aftercare invoices for the month of January have come out and were due Saturday, February 15th, 2020. Any questions can be directed to Ms. Chiappetta at echiappetta@stjudesacademy.com
·      The lunch site is now open for the month of March! It will be open until Wednesday, February 26th at 3:00 p.m. sharp. The special for the month is French Toast with Whipped Cream and Syrup. Please remember not to order on Wednesday, March 4th as we are skiing. Any questions can be directed to Ms. Gandy at sgandy@stjudesacademy.com
·      Re-registration packages were due back by 4 p.m. on Tuesday, February 18th. We are still accepting the packages now – hurry and secure your spot for the 2020-2021 school year.

We began the day with a Jump Rope for heart assembly.




Then we took our graduation and sibling photos.

Next we worked on our math test and OWA post assessment writing a persuasive letter.

After first recess and lunch we had French.

Then we dove into UOI learning about the Human Development Index. 

Learning Goal: Students distinguished between developing nations and described what is meant by the Human Development Index. 
 
• The Human Development Index: the HDI measures the quality of life of a country based on 3 key areas: 
-life expectancy
-knowledge 
-standard of living.

Students predicted where Canada, the USA and 3 other countries might be on the HDI. Then we all used this website to determine if our predictions were correct:
