A few quick reminders:
· Tomorrow is Day 2. - Gym day
· Aftercare invoices for the month of January have come out and were due Saturday, February 15th, 2020. Any questions can be directed to Ms. Chiappetta at echiappetta@stjudesacademy.com
· The lunch site is now open for the month of March! It will be open until Wednesday, February 26th at 3:00 p.m. sharp. The special for the month is French Toast with Whipped Cream and Syrup. Please remember not to order on Wednesday, March 4th as we are skiing. Any questions can be directed to Ms. Gandy at sgandy@stjudesacademy.com
· Re-registration packages were due back by 4 p.m. on Tuesday, February 18th. We are still accepting the packages now – hurry and secure your spot for the 2020-2021 school year.
We began the day with music class.
Then we took up our math review and checked for understanding.
Then we spent the rest of the day preparing for our OWA writing a persuasive letter. We took many weeks practicing how to write persuasively with our speech and today we reminded ourselves how to write a proper letter. We looked over some examples in partners and came up with our own success criteria. Next, we worked on writing a persuasive letter for or against our topic.
We also had French class today.
At the end of the day we did a fun 'positivity' activity with Mr. Austin, where we wrote positive comments about our classmates!
