Tremendous Tuesday!!!

Today was our trip to Terra Cotta Conservation Area!!! What fun we had!! We also did so much learning and exploring!!!

When we arrived, we found a salamander!!

During our trip, we became insect inspectors!! We needed to find specific kinds of insects and then figure out if they are a real insect or an imposter. Before begin this fun inquiry, we ensured that we understood the qualifications of an insect. Jordan was our “insect.”

After, we played a fun game of “rock paper scissors” that incorporated the butterfly life cycle:

In the afternoon, we explored various animal adaptations and participated in various activities related to how animals adapt.

Please check out Ms. Baimas’ blog for more pictures.

I want to say a special thank you to all the wonderful volunteers!

Have a great night!
