Wonderful Wednesday!!
We began the day having French with Mlle.
Jessica.
We then moved onto math. Today we focused
on doubles. We looked at a poster of various dominos and we needed to find all
the doubles as a class. We then showed our understanding of doubles in our math
books.
Next, we had gym with Mr. H.
When students returned, we presented our
summative presentations.
Following first recess and lunch, we
continued our summative presentations.
We then worked on our writing. We reviewed
the ways that we can add detail to our writing (adjectives and answering who,
what where, when, why, and how). We were then given a simple sentence and we
worked on adding detail to our simple sentence.
After second recess and lunch, we
summarized what happened in chapter 6 of Charlotte’s
Web and then we read chapter 7 and 8. As a class, we did a summary of what
happened in each chapter afterwards so we can build upon our summarization
skills.
At the end of the day, Hayden shared his “crocodile
egg” with us. We are going to leave the crocodile egg in hot water and see if
it hatches!!!
